Visio Network Diagramming, the first of a bi-monthly series where we show how Visio can be applied to areas such as networks, data centres, IoT, application mapping etc. For this webinar our host will be covering tips and tricks for creating and maintaining different types of Visio network diagrams.
Representing complex infrastructure connectivity is simpler and faster using MS Visio automation techniques, where a few minutes of awareness may save hours or days of manual effort. Few have had any Visio training or have developed Visio standards, so it is no wonder that it takes more time than expected and inconsistencies develop. Network schematics are used at all stages of network life cycles – architectures, design, build, operate, decommission so maybe it would be sensible to improve and reuse, rather than redraw the same diagrams? Surely refreshing 10, 100 or 1000 diagrams every week is better than every 5 years – without having to buy and run scanning and discovery tools.
Our presenters David and Callum will cover topology diagram methods that can be used for networks and attached components LAN/WAN/SAN/VLAN/SDN/Cloud/Mux etc.
